Day 3 Animal Kingdom - Magic Kingdom

On day 3, we started out at Animal Kingdom which was such a treat! We loved every second at this park & were blown away by the Safari!

Another highlight of the day was the Finding Nemo show and the Lion King show...they were incredible & we all absolutely loved them!

Of course we rode some rides!

And got a little wet in the process!

The whole time we were at Animal Kingdom Josh said, "Peter would sure love it here!"...Pete is Joshua's cousin/bff who is an animal fanatic. Josh was longing for his company as we went on the safari. It was breath-taking. The animals roam free & we had to stop so the giraffes could cross the road...pretty cool!

None of us knew exactly what to expect on this trip since we've never been to Disney World, but my goodness, we were blown away by how much there was to see & do. My sister joked that it has it's own zip code, but I'm guessing it has more like 5 of it's own zip codes.  Disney World is crazy big!
For the second part of the day we went to Magic Kingdom...which is just like Disneyland, only bigger and better.

We got there in time to walk the streets & then enjoy the Electrical Parade!

Of course we found our way to "It's a Small World"...

We watched the biggest fireworks display we've ever seen at the end of the night (the picture does it NO justice):

It took the kids all of 5 seconds to fall asleep that night!

The end of another perfect day!
