Day 5 - Universal Studios

Monday was our day to visit Universal Studios! Honestly, we felt like nothing could compare to Disney & expected to be let down. But we were pleasantly surprised by Universal & had a really good time! I don't think the kids realized we weren't in Disney any more because it was pretty spectacular as well.

We spent a lot of time in the world of Dr. Seuss...the kids really loved it!! Lots of fun rides!!

There was so much to see at Universal...

The favorite ride - by far - was the Harry Potter coaster.

I love this video because you get an idea of what our week was like:

The Harry Potter ride was one of the few roller coasters that all 6 of us could ride, so we rode it until the park closed! And as you can tell from the video, he kinda loved it!

The Jurassic Park Ride was also SO much fun...sure,we got completely drenched, but we didn't mind because it was pretty toasty that day.

This was as healthy as it got for us...yikes!! :)

That evening Josh chose to eat at Bubba Gumps...he was in the mood for shrimp.:)

We went back to the resort and did a little more swimming one last time....and then it was finally lights out on another perfect day!

Universal looks awesome. I can see why they liked it so much. I cannot even imagine what it is like in person. There is so much to look at in each picture; I bet the kids were in awe!

Josh is so dang funny in that video! The switch from delight to fright to delight is thrown so fast it is hard not to to chuckle at his "emotional roller coaster."

I didn't realize that Universal Studios was different. I really don't know anything about Disney World or Universal to be honest.

The video has us dying over here. We love it. So cute and Josh couldn't be ANY happier. I love it. So glad you captured that!

What a great trip!! I'm SO glad y'all were able to be treated so nicely - you totally deserve it!

That video is awesome! I seriously teared up watching his face with such excitement. He is such an adorable boy who has been through so much and It's truly a blessing to watch him grow and experience all these things! I hate that we aren't closer to be able to get together more often. Thanks for sharing his story with us! XOXO
